Students may request room changes beginning around the second week of each semester.  The dates and times for room changes will be widely advertised once the semester begins.  Students interested in a room change may do so by completing a room change form at the Office of Housing and Residence Life. 

EVERYONE MUST STAY IN HIS/HER ASSIGNED ROOM FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF EACH SEMESTER.  After that time, room changes are allowed during a specified time of open room change with the approval from the Office of Housing and Residence Life.  After the room change period ends, changes may be approved by the Residence Coordinator if there are extenuating circumstances.  Non-approved room changes will result in a fine of at least $25.00 and the student may be required to move back into his/her original room.  If conflicts occur between roommates, both parties should consult with their RA who can help resolve the conflict.  It is important to remember that successful roommates communicate, compromise and consider each other's feelings.
