Portable Perch - Morton Hall Lobby, 11:00 am-1:00 pm - The Portable Perch outreaches to students who might not normally come to the Fisher Student Center to utilize the resources at the Seahawk Perch. Come by and check out what we have to offer, in addition, this Portable Perch will have FREE materials to make your own valentine (for students who may not have the time or money to otherwise show the person they love, that they do indeed love them). Monday, 3/15:
Celebrate like a Seahawk - Seahawk Perch, 11:00 am-1:00 pm - In collaboration with Crossroads, the Seahawk Perch will provide information on how to celebrate responsibly this St. Patrick’s Day. In addition to providing mocktails, the Perch and Crossroads will provide information how to accurately understand blood alcohol content, including a cool app for your iPhone, as well as providing valuable information about how to use alternative modes of transportation (such as taxicabs and the bus) to avoid drinking and driving.

Housing Fair - Burney Center, 10:00 am-2:00 pm - The Housing Fair rallies local apartment complexes, rental agencies, and home services so that students have a one-stop opportunity to learn about several off-campus living options and services. The Fair provides the perfect opportunity for students and parents to explore off-campus living choices in a fun, stress-free environment. This event is FREE and we will be providing FREE pizza from Domino's. We hope to see you there!

Get Your Bike and Board in Gear - Campus Commons Amphitheater, 11:00 am-1:00 pm - This event brings local bike shop Two Wheeler Dealer and 17th Street Skate Shop to campus to tune up students’ bike and skateboards. Take advantage of a FREE TUNE-UP and enter to win other prizes.

Family Photo Session - 8:00-10:00 am - This event will bring professional photographer Mike Bull to campus to provide a FREE photo session, including 20 minutes with the photographer and a CD of approximately five polished family photos. Family Movie Matinee - Lumina Theatre, 3:00 pm - The Seahawk Perch, in collaboration with Graduate Student Life, will provide a FREE showing of Pee-Wee Herman’s Big Adventure. This Tim Burton Classic is sure to spark nostalgia for the parents and joy for the kiddos.
Monday, 4/26:
Stress Free Zone - Seahawk Perch, 11:00 am-2:00 pm - In collaboration with Crossroads, CARE, Health Promotions, and Graduate Student Life, the Seahawk Perch provides a place for student to relax before exams. There will be massage therapists to provide FREE massages for students, in addition to providing several relaxing activities to reduce stress.
