Two easy steps to filling out your Undergraduate Graduation Application

On SeaNet, check your permanent address. If it is incorrect, please update it by clicking on update address, selecting permanent address, then enter your address and click the submit button. |

Note to Walker Applicants:
Students may be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony if they have completed requirements for graduation or if they are expected to meet the graduation requirements with the completion of one course of up to four hours during the term immediately following the graduation ceremony. Students who are one course short must notify the Office of the Registrar by the end of the seventh week (October 2) of the semester of their intent to participate in the ceremony. This application to participate (walk) in the ceremony is in addition to the degree application that all graduating students must complete. Their names will not be published in the Commencement Program.
Unpaid Debts
Be sure to check SeaNet periodically to ensure that you have no outstanding debts. Students with unpaid debts to the university will not be issued diplomas or have transcripts forwarded until all debts and fines are paid in full. Payment can be made via SeaNet or in the Cashier's Office in the Warwick Center.
Eligibility
Students who have applied for graduation and have completed all degree requirements during the spring 2009 and summer 2009 semesters are eligible to participate in the fall commencement ceremony. Students who have applied for graduation and have completed all degree requirements during the spring 2010 semesters are eligible to participate in the spring commencement ceremonies. Diplomas
Undergraduate and graduate diplomas will be mailed from the Registrar's Office to the graduate's permanent address. Please check SeaNet to ensure you permanent address is correct.
Distinctions & Honors
Degree with Distinction- Students who earn a minimum of a 3.5 GPA on all course work attempted, including transfer courses will receive a degree with distinction.
With Honors In- Students who successfully completed the Honors Program in their major will graduate “With Honors In” the discipline in which their special work was undertaken.
Academic distinction cords will be distributed to students at their departmental
events or in Hanover Gym prior to their commencement ceremony.
