Qualifications
The basic requirements:
- Must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the University
- Must have established a 3.2 cumulative GPA and be in good standing with the Honors Scholars Program
- Must be available for ALL Seahawk Link Training Sessions
- April 12th 12pm-5pm
- April 26th 12pm-6pm
- April 27th 1pm-6pm
- August 15th TBD
- Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at time of application
- Must be available to attend ALL weekly Seahawk Link meetings, Thursdays from 5:00-6:00pm
Honors Scholars Link Responsibilities
- Provide support for freshmen in a Freshmen Seminar or freshmen not registered in a Freshmen Seminar course through programming and outreach
- Attend assigned Freshmen Seminar course at least once a week (if applicable)
- Coordinate with assigned Freshmen Seminar instructor on some class content (if applicable)
- Participate and promote the University Common Reading Program
- Assist Honors freshman in meeting their cultural and service requirements
- Serve as a role model and mentor
Compensation Package
- Approximately $300 stipend for Fall
