Visiting students from other accredited institutions may enroll in summer courses at UNCW. You may print the Visiting Summer Application and mail to the Office of Admissions or you may submit an online application at https://sealevel.uncw.edu. Students applying online will need to create a profile in SeaLevel. After a student creates a profile, they should choose "Online Application" and select "Create the 2010 Visiting Student Application for Summer Semester." Drawn from the information entered during account creation, many fields in the application will be pre-populated. Students will see a confirmation screen after submitting their web application and receive an email notifying them that their application was received. Students can check their application status by logging into SeaLevel and selecting Apply to UNCW and 'Check Application Status.' Applications are processed and decision letters generated usually with a weeks time. However, if the student has answered 'yes' to any of the campus safety questions it adds an extra step for processing.
Students who have attended previously as summer visiting students must submit the 2010 Visiting Student Application for Summer Semester!
Students are encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible since the application must be complete before it can be processed for admission. At the very latest, the application should be submitted no later than one week prior to the first day of class for both sessions; however, there is no guarantee that this late submission will be processed before classes begin. You may also request an application from the Summer School office at 910.962.7209, or the Office of Admissions at 910.962.3243.
Visiting students do not need to attend orientation; however, if your admission status changes, you are required to attend the next available orientation.
