Strengths/Resiliency-Based Practice, Research and Training

Overview

The Strengths/Resiliency-based Practice, Research and Training Collaborative is a partnership of practitioners, agencies, communities, trainers and researchers dedicated to building strengths-based practices with individuals, families, and communities.  The Collaborative is housed in the Department of Social Work at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.  Basic Tenets:

- Every individual, group, family, and community has strengths

- Assume you do not know the upper limits of growth and change that is possible

- Clients are experts and work is client-directed
