Open House is our major recruiting event. This is where prospective students receive information about the UNCW Teaching Fellows Program, the requirements from the state about the Teaching Fellows Program and tips for how to interview successfully during Regional Screening. At the end of the Open House Presentation, campus and dormitory tours are available so future students can see where they will stay their Freshman Year.
The Open House Program is student run. The Sophomore Class plans for the event and meets the finalists with advice to help prepare them for the interviews. In addition, the Open House is a time for future students to meet the staff at UNCW and to get to know their surroundings.
