Mission Statement

The Division for University Advancement strives to raise funds from the private sector to further the university's mission of excellence in teaching, research and public service. In doing so, the division plans strategically to facilitate the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of all constituencies and seeks to positively promote the university. The division's fundraising efforts are enhanced by effective partnerships with all components of the campus community as well as external audiences including alumni, parents, corporations, foundations and friends.

Vision Statement

The vision of University Advancement is to be recognized as a leader among its peer institutions in effective development as a result of increased private commitment and investment in the university. The division will enhance the external image of the university by effectively utilizing leadership boards and strengthening relationships through communication and interaction with board members, donors and prospects.
