Through the generosity of donors, UNCW Youth Programs is able to offer a limited number of partial scholarships (up to 75% of the cost) to any North Carolina resident for some of our MarineQuest summer camps. Your support will enable young people with a sincere desire to purse the study of marine science by helping offset the cost of our programs.
All gifts add up, enabling us to provide young people with opportunities to explore, discover and value our marine habitats and encourages them to develop into environmentally responsible adults. Here's how:

Just 36 gifts of $50 would enable us to provide six children between the ages of 9 -10 with a scholarship to attend SEA S.I. where they will spend the week as detectives exploring local fresh and saltwater habitats.

Gifts to the MarineQuest Youth Programs Scholarship Fund will also help us continue to enrich our school programs. Your support will help bring preK-12 marine education to an under served classroom, where we can serve as many as 300 students. |

Just 18 gifts of $100 would enable an underprivileged child to attend Camp Oceans where for two weeks they will gain first-hand experience and explore career options for marine scientists. |
